Training & Certification

Radiopharmacy

If unit doses arrive ready-to-administer, radiopharmacy training centers on receipt, QC, storage, and inventory. If your program compounds on-site, the training scope expands significantly to include containment, aseptic technique under shielding, and alpha-specific QC.

Receipt and QC

Inspect packaging, verify activity against the calibration document, log into inventory, and confirm the dose calibrator setting is the AMP-validated Ac-225 setting.

Storage and inventory

Shielded storage with documented chain of custody from receipt through administration to waste. Reconcile inventory at least daily during active programs.

Compounding (if applicable)

HEPA-ventilated containment, shielded L-block, validated procedures, batch records, and a documented release pathway. AMP and RSO sign-off on every procedure change.
